Shadows in the Forgotten Archives is a short story that I (Vanessa Perry aka Prose & Pumpkins) have been wanting to release while I maybe, eventually, some time in the near or far future actually finish my next book.

Experimental in nature (for me), this 5-part mystery fantasy story features a missing book collection that is loved by none other than an equally lost librarian. Our main character, Ti, who is also the only character, is determined to find them. 

It may sound like a cute, cozy tale. However, it is a story of fear and heartache as Ti learns how to be comfortable when alone.

But don’t worry, friend. I have taken great care to craft a story that is both dark and gentle. By the end, there is hope. And couldn’t we all use a bit of hope?

Part 1 of 5 will be released Monday August 12 at Noon EST. Please prepare to join Ti on this journey of self-discovery.
